Wow! This week flew by! It was a good one, though. One of the accomplishments of this week was that I tried sushi for the first time on Wednesday. I was so scared, because seafood in general is not my favorite thing. My friends and I went to this place called Drunken Bento, over by UC main campus. They offer regular sushi as well as deep fried sushi (and we all know, almost anything deep fried is 100000x better than its regular form). I got a roll of the regular and deep fried, and it was fabulous! I did not ask what was in it--I figured it was better that way... I suppose something I learned was that I like sushi now! Another accomplishment/challenge was signing up for fall semester classes. I will be starting the fashion design program at DAAP, and had to go meet with my new advisor to sort the classes out. Because I will be commuting from Batavia, I wanted to make the least amount of trips possible. I have locked in all of the classes, and let's just say, Tuesday is going to be the pits. Tuesdays/Thursdays I have an 8:00-9:20am class in the DAAP building, then I have to rush over to Swift Hall for a 9:30 class. I have two other classes after that, but they are spaced out so I can breathe a little. My last class on Tuesday is from 6:00-8:50pm, so dark circles under my eyes will definitely be happening. Thankfully, the night class only happens on Tuesdays, so I won't be tortured everyday. I don't think it will be too bad though, I'll always have 3 days to mentally and physically prepare for it. Other than the material in this course, I cannot think of another thing I have learned this week at this moment. I need to step it up, so next week, I will have more to report! A possible question for a quiz or test may be:

What is the range and domain of the graph? What are the units for each?

I have to say, this has been a great week! I think it was a good idea that we changed the third test date to Friday, because that was the subject I was most confused about. I think I did fairly well; however, we will see... Honestly, I am sad for this short semester to be over. Normally I dislike math with a burning passion (which I think is because I did not understand it completely), but this has been an enjoyable time! If I could take every class like this, I would. There is a lot of busy work because it is all packed into a short period of time, but it manageable. I did a couple of fun things this week, to start off the summer. My friend in Mason opened a pizza restaurant that has both Chicago and New York style pizza, and let me tell you, it is amazing. Whoever reads this should check it out! It's called Two Cities Pizza. I believe they opened 7 months ago. Anyway, this past Friday, they had a block party celebrating their winning Best Pizza in Cincinnati. That was huge for th...

This week has flown by and has been somewhat enjoyable. The weather has been beautiful, which is nice because you can do homework outside! It's perfect for campfires as well, so needless to say, I've been putting down the s'mores. It's really amazing if you use Reese's instead of plain chocolate. Oh man... So amazing. Another fabulous campfire treat is roasted peeps. The sugar caramelizes and when it cools, it creates a hard covering that is so heavenly. I have accomplished many things this week; however, I will say, this weeks homework was the most challenging to me. Not because of the quantity, rather the material. If I spent long enough I would eventually get it, but it started to get frustrating. Another frustration was mymathlab. For some reason, some of the grid homework questions would just freeze every time I would try to do them *eye roll*. Anyway, the week itself has been nice. I babysat my friend's 2-year old on Saturday, which was more pleasant than ...

The end of the week meets me again, and I barely remember it starting. It went by so incredibly fast! I went to a wedding yesterday (Saturday), which was a lot of fun. It was two of my close friends, so it was a lot of fun. She looked absolutely beautiful and he looked nice, too. I love weddings. An accomplishment this week would probably be that I attempted to run... Well, I ended walking mostly. I think I ran for a total of 1 minute out of 35 minutes... It was 3.5 miles in the end, though, so something was accomplished. I so wish I were one of those people who could get up and run a marathon no problem, but no! Slow and steady wins the race, so at my pace, I'm first place! I went shopping with my sister, for the purpose of finding her an outfit for the wedding. One huge challenge was going shopping without buying anything (Spoiler: I bought two dresses). With that said, I believe something I learned was that I am a shopaholic... Isn't that terrible? How does a person fix th...
